Kings Under 8 – Weekly Report 11/09/2016

Welcome to the 2016/2017 season. It has been good to see so many return to rugby in the Under 8s and especially good to see some new members too (Emil, Akira, Saskia, Shaun and Lucas so far). Please ask around at school and also your friends outside to see whether anyone else would like to try out tag-rugby. Why not bring them down next Sunday?
We had 23 in attendance on Sunday 11th, which was great. The weather was warm and dry and everyone did very well with the exercises. Remember to always move into space and call your name to receive a pass. Everyone listened well to the instructions and picked up from where they left off last season. The new members picked things up extremely quickly too. All games were played with some great teamwork and good sportsmanship. The coaches all enjoyed themselves and we’re looking forward to seeing you again next Sunday.

Key Notices:
• 02/10/2016 Joint Training at Wimbledon RFC (details to follow).
• 09/10/2016 Kings Festival. Do make yourselves available for this great day for the club and see if Mum and Dad can help out too.
• We will continue to do drinks, but it would be helpful if each child could bring down their own water bottle.
• Under 8s is still non-contact, but It is recommended that children have a gum-shield.
