1. KCNC EST. 1949

Kent County Netball Club was established in 1949 making it one of the oldest netball clubs in the country.

Since that time the club has grown from having one adult team to having over 100 members whose ages range from 8 to over 60.

We also have strong links with the County Association and have had numerous players represent Kent at all age groups, including several County Captains. Our current Senior Club Coach also coached the Kent Senior team in the top division of the English Counties League for many successful seasons in the past.

Many of our players have gone on to represent England at Senior, U19 and U17 levels, as well as being selected by Superleague and NPL teams.

In the more recent past the Club qualified for the National League and was promoted through several divisions until it reached the top flight. The 1st team currently competes in the England Netball Premier League, and the 2nd team in the Kent County League.

Since starting our junior club, both the U16 and U14 squads have been Kent County Champions, and gone on to compete amongst the top teams in the country at the National Championships.

All our senior teams also play in the local league, the North West Kent League, and are selected on ability not age. Our juniors and minis compete at the Medway Junior League.

All our members are expected to be fully committed to the club, and to train hard. We play to win and encourage all members to develop their game and reach their full potential. Members are also encouraged to give back to the club by getting involved with coaching and umpiring, or other volunteer roles.
