We offer an opportunity for children to learn new skills, get out in the fresh air, and burn off lots of energy whilst learning the rules and respect of Rugby as well as having lots of fun.
We are a sociable club and welcome families to join us in the clubhouse for a variety of hot/cold food and drinks and attend the variety of additional events we put on throughout the year. Run by volunteers, this is a fantastic opportunity for both kids and parents to meet new people and be part of a wider community.

Why play Rugby you ask?

Before respect for authority completely vanishes in the world, the last place it will be found is on the rugby field. When the referee makes a decision we disagree with, kids still call him “sir” and don’t talk back.

Exercise and other physical activity produce endorphins—chemicals in the brain that act as natural painkillers—and also improve the ability to sleep, which in turn reduces stress.
