This week saw the North West Men's League launch event for the 2017 season, with the structure outlined for the season ahead.

It was confirmed that Leyland Warriors will again have two teams entered, in Division 2 and Division 5 respectively. With both sides making the play-offs last year, the whole squad will be looking to move forward in 2017.

With both teams being drawn for a Bye in the Preliminary Round, our knock-out cup commitments for 2017 begin on Saturday 13th May as follows:
NWML Trophy - Div 2 away at Rochdale Cobras
NWML Shield - Div 5 at home to the winner of Aspull New Springs Lions v Cadishead Rhinos.
