High standards, player welfare and enjoyment are a huge importance to us and as a club we have set out our core standards which apply to all coaching staff, match officials, players, parents, supporters and club members of Lindley Swifts ARLFC. We are all role models for the children whom play for us.

All coaches are qualified to a level 2 coaching badge to facilitate game play, oversee games and coach our players.

All volunteers, coaches and match officials within our club are fully DBS checked.

Coaches, players, parents, supporters, officials must not bring the game of Rugby League or our Club into disrepute, or behave in any way contrary to the true spirit of the game. We have worked hard to gain an excellent reputation and want to keep it that way.

Coaches are responsible for the conduct of players during the game.

Games are controlled by the referees appointed in accordance of the rules of the game. Their decisions must be respected at all times.

Players must not use foul, discriminatory languge or use any dangerous play against any opponent.

The rules of Rugby League as set out by the RFL and YJL shall be adhered to and respected.

During the game coaches, players, supporters, parents, must not use foul, obscene, discriminatory language or gestures to any opponent, referee or game official.

Whilst in our club house everyone must conduct themselves with integrity and respect the facilities.

We seek to provide a clean, safe environment for all and ask individuals to respect our Club House, changing rooms, club house staff, fellow members and equipment at all times.

We treat others how we would like to be treated.

Harassment, victimisation, bullying will not be tolerated in any form. This includes via Social Media platforms.

If any parent, player, volunteer or club member should have any concerns or issues, they should seek out the relevant club official so things can be dealt with promptly, appropriately and in a professional, considerate manner.

We encourage and help each other at all team levels to develop relevant skills and to enhance the enjoyment and performance of Rugby League within our club.
