New Marshalls Coaches

Becoming a New Marshalls Coach / Manager

Before anyone joins the Marshalls coaches group or begins to coach the kids at Marshalls, each coach needs to have completed the following and progressed all their accreditation.

This process should be completed and agreed upon with the following committee members beforehand.

Treasurer - In order to be refunded for the payments required to complete the courses.

Head Coach - In order for the head coach to understand what team the individual is to be assigned to and provide coaching support to the new coach.

Secretary - In order to add to the clubs' list of qualified coaches on the FA Whole game system and also to ensure we keep to our FA Community Accredited Club status.

FA DBS Checks

The FA requires those working in eligible* roles with children and young people to pass a DBS Check. This is in line with legislation and government guidance and is standard practice.

We provide the framework and guidance for DBS Checks in football. The leagues and clubs then have to implement this to ensure those required to have DBS Checks done have them.

First, you must Register with the Online Disclosures.

Online Disclosures Registration

The Org pin will be supplied to you via the Club Welfare Officer (CWO) or Club Secretary.

Secondly, you must commence your online DBS application

You will be asked for your:

  • FAN in the Personal Reference Number field.
  • National Insurance
  • Passport Number
  • Driving Licence Number

so please ensure you have this information ready.

Here is a guide to help.
