6. New volunteers and DBS checks


All coaches, managers, first aiders and volunteers of the youth section must be DBS checked.

All NEW volunteers will have to complete the Volunteer Application Form below and submit by email to Lauren Maityard Club Volunteer Coordinator
laurenmaityard@newmiltonrugbyclub.co.uk
before you start your coaching/managing/volunteering journey at the club.

To undertake your DBS you will need to have an account on the RFU's Game Management System, and undergo a safeguarding E-Learning package.
You will be assisted throughout this process.

The documents you will require:

Valid passport and photo driving licence (check dob and current addresses).

Alternatively you could substitute one of these with your birth certificate.

If you have had a different name from the one you have now, you will need the dates of changing your name/s (date you got married/adopted/deed poll etc).

and one of these:

Council tax statement (within the last year - with current address on)

P60 (within the last year - with current address on)

Electricity bill (last 3 months - with current address on)

Gas bill (last 3 months - with current address on)

Bank statement (last 3 months - with current address on)

Credit card statement (last 3 months - with current address on)

You also need to know

Your National Insurance number

Your addresses and postcodes covering the last 5 years (months and years of moving)
