Terms and Conditions

Club Policies
At Norbiton Knights, we believe football should be competitive, fun, inclusive, and respectful. Below is a summary of our key club policies to give players, supporters, and the wider public an understanding of how we run our club, both on and off the pitch.

Code of Conduct
We are committed to promoting respect, sportsmanship, and fair play. All players, coaches, officials, and supporters are expected to:

- Treat referees, opponents, and teammates with respect at all times.
- Refrain from using abusive language or engaging in violent or discriminatory behaviour.
- Uphold the spirit of the game—win or lose.

Player Expectations
- Players must confirm availability in good time before matches.
- Punctuality is expected for both matches and training.
- Match fees should be paid promptly to support the club's running costs.
- Players are encouraged to train regularly and maintain fitness where possible.

Match Fees & Club Finances
Matchday fees are used to cover costs such as pitch hire, league fees, referee cost, etc.
All fees must be paid in full and on time. Players who consistently fail to pay may be ineligible for selection.

Team Selection
Selection is based on availability, effort, fitness, and team balance. While we aim to be competitive, we also value commitment and reliability. Playing time is managed fairly across the season.

Disciplinary Policy
Misconduct, both on and off the pitch, may result in internal action by the club.
Yellow and red cards are monitored, and repeat offences may lead to suspensions.
The club reserves the right to suspend or remove individuals whose behaviour brings the club into disrepute.

Equality, Diversity & Inclusion
Discrimination or bullying of any kind will not be tolerated.

We are proud to be an inclusive football club. We welcome players and supporters of all:
- Backgrounds
- Genders
- Abilities
- Ethnicities
- Sexual orientations

Social Media & Public Image
We encourage positive promotion of the club on social media.
Content that is offensive, discriminatory, or disrespectful towards others will not be accepted. Please think before you post—what you say online reflects on the whole club.

Safeguarding (If Youth Players Are Involved)
Any teams operating with players under 18 will have:

- All coaches and volunteers DBS-checked.
- The safety and welfare of young players regarded as a top priority.
- A safe space for all to enjoy the game we all know and love.

Any concerns can be reported confidentially to our Club Welfare Officer at norbitonknights@gmail.com.
