On loan Forest keeper speaks to Josh Holland;

New Boro goalkeeper, Jordan Wright, says he is ready to develop as a player and a person after securing his loan move from Nottingham Forest.

Cam Belford has signed for Ashton United on loan, giving Wright the opportunity to secure a place as Boro’s number one.

Wright has enjoyed spells at Alfreton, Kettering and Grantham whilst at Forest, before joining Jimmy Ginnelly’s side for today’s trip to Biggleswade.

When he was in his scholarship year at the City Ground, Wright was named on the bench for the first team fixture against MK Dons.

‘I’m very excited to get started and to take on a new challenge that will see me grow as a player and a person.’

He continued, “I wanted to get out and play men’s football and develop different areas of my game. After speaking to the gaffer and Dale, I took the opportunity to join Boro straight away.”

Jordan was one of a number of player ins and outs announced on Wednesday evening, with Craig Stanley signing from Clitheroe and former Boro midfielder Michael Richens joining on a one-month loan.

Meanwhile, Matt Sargeant, Aris Christophorou, Chris Camwell, Lewis Rankin and Ryan Harkin have all left Liberty Way.
