We are pleased to announce that ex-Northern Ireland international and Championship striker, Jamie Ward, has signed for the Boro, after previously being at Ilkeston.

The Solihull-born left winger began his football career with Aston Villa as a trainee before joining Torquay United. Jamie Ward has also had experience playing in the Championship for Sheffield United, Derby County and Nottingham Forest.

It was whilst Ward was at Sheffield United that he was called up to the Northern Ireland squad for the Euro 2012 and 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, as well as Euro 2016.

Most recently, Jamie Ward's 20 goals helped Buxton secure promotion to the National League North in the 2021/22 season.

Welcome to the Boro, Jamie!
