Old Leams Nomads head into the final round of the Northampton Saints National Walking Rugby League sitting proudly at the top of the table.

After the opening round, the Nomads were joint leaders and looking comfortable. Unfortunately, a difficult day on the indoor astro saw us stumble down to 4th place. Some blamed the surface, some blamed the opposition, and some are still blaming their knees.

But the Nomads responded in the best possible way. At the latest round, the squad turned back the clock, and produced a flawless five wins from five matches to march straight back to the summit of the standings.

With one round remaining, we've given ourselves the best possible chance of walking away with some silverware. Whether that's down to skill, experience, cunning rugby brains, or simply because some of us have had more years to practise walking than the opposition remains open for debate.

A huge THANK YOU goes to the 22 players who have represented the Nomads across the tournament over the last four months. Your commitment, enthusiasm, and willingness to spend Sundays proving that old rugby players never really retire has been outstanding.

KO 10:30 - Nomads v Banbury (Qtrs)
KO 11:45 - Nomads v Sils (Semi)
KO 13:00 - Nomads v Leamington (Final)

Tomorrow's play offs will all be taking place on the main pitch at CINCH STADIUM at Franklin Gardens.
