Spring/Summer 2024 saw the launch of a brand new Junior Touch Rugby section at the club. Touch Rugby, or simply 'Touch' is a great way for players- young and old- to develop run, catch and pass skills within a minimal contact game. Almost uniquely, Touch is played as a mixed game at all ages, so boys and girls aged 6-16 are welcome.

Sessions are run by experienced Touch Coach (ex- England player and Coach) Paul Farrington. Sessions will include skills and lots of game time. The aim is to run a team to compete in the National Junior Touch Cup 2024.

Sessions are every Thursday evening, starting on 4th April and will run every week until September 2024.

5:30-6:30pm- Year 1, 2, 3, & 4 boys and girls.
6:30-7:30pm- Year 5,6, 7, 8 & 9 boys and girls

* Adult Social Touch will run from 6:30-8pm alongside the Junior Sessions.

The Mavericks Touch Section is free to members of the club and £30 for the Summer for non members.
