Otley are going to Welford Road to play South Leicester in high spirits, having seen off Stourbridge last Saturday and having won six of their last seven games. In contrast Leicester have only won one of their last eight games, the win was at home against Huddersfield two weeks ago.
The form book suggests that whichever team is higher in the league wins this encounter. Our first win at Welford Road, and our first ever match against South, we were sixth and they were tenth. We lost the next two games being lower in the league, but this season we are seventh and they are fourteenth. With sixth placed Sedgely having a tough fixture at Chester, there is an opportunity for Otley to move up the table again.
Lewis Cooper makes his first team debut at blindside flanker, with most of the team who played last week back in the starting blocks. Harry Skelton is on the bench having returned from Dubai, as is Jason Moss who got married last week – many congratulations!
There is also rugby at Cross Green this Saturday - the Saracens take on Bradford & Bingley in a league match, and they will also be playing for the Granville Clark Cup.
