Paul Brown Goalkeeping

The Paul Brown Goalkeeper Development Centre for ages 7yrs-adult at the home of Brighouse Town FC, St Giles Rd, Hove Edge, HD6 2PL on Monday Evenings.

Block book 6 Sessions for £36.
Session times:
Ages 7-11yrs 6:15pm – 7:15pm (Waiting List in operation)
Ages 15+ 7:30pm-8:30pm Limited places available
All sessions will take place on grass pitches.

All coaches are FA qualified Goalkeeper Coaches, Emergency Aid trained and Enhanced CRB checked.

Due to the specialist nature of coaching required for goalkeepers, many clubs unfortunately do not/cannot provide the appropriate coaching to be able to develop their own goalkeepers and maximize their potential. Attackers practice shooting techniques and defenders practice defending techniques and yet the most important player on the field, the goalkeeper, who can single-handedly help win or lose you a game, in most clubs, is left as an afterthought during training sessions.

For this exact reason Paul Brown Goalkeeper Coaching has created a Goalkeeper Development Centre to give goalkeepers the opportunity to improve their goalkeeping skills and techniques. The Goalkeeper Development Centre has been specifically designed for dedicated goalkeepers who want to attend weekly coaching sessions to improve all aspects their goalkeeping and maximize their potential and be a success on a match-day. During these 1hr weekly sessions, goalkeepers will take part in fun, exciting coaching sessions and work with other goalkeepers of a similar age to develop their goalkeeping skills and build confidence with other like minded goalkeepers.

All aspects of goalkeeping will be covered in our specifically designed sessions including:
Ball Familiarity
Basic Handling
Goalkeeper relevant fitness
Angles/Starting Position
Dealing with crosses
Shot stopping/Deflecting/Recovery
Distribution/Kicking
1 v 1’s
Plus fun goalkeeper games to finish the sessions.
