A second T20 title in 5 seasons saw Bar lift the cup at Hertford.

In the early rounds, Bar overcame Old Owens and Welwyn Garden City at home before they travelled to a sun-scorched Balls Park.

They overcame hosts Hertford by 9 wkts thanks to a brilliant 93* from Reece Hussain and then James Seward held his nerve as they just held off a spirited Hoddesdon.

This brought Bar into the National stages, where they lost by just 2 runs against the eventual winners, Hornchurch from Essex
