Pulborough Rugby Football Club – Concussion Policy
Prepared in accordance with England Rugby’s: ‘Rugby Safe’ wellbeing programme; Regulation 9 ‘Player Safety’ and ‘Headcase’ concussion programme.
Pulborough RFC recognises the risks of concussion to players as a result of playing rugby both at age-grade and adult levels. Concussion is a traumatic brain injury that affects its function. All concussions must therefore be taken seriously, as failing to do so can have serious consequences, including in extremely rare cases, death.
