Robert Colburn is one of those people that are a blessing to this sport. Someone who was simply interested in what the heck a bunch of guys running around on an oval smashing into each other working to get the ball through the uprights near his home; Rob has taken our sport to the next level with his photography.

This past Saturday while the skies opened up and the lightening threatened to strike at any moment you could see Rob with an umbrella and a camera walking around the oval looking for that perfect shot.

Rob has been around the league now since last season, as a hobby he has been out many times both to Rebels games and training sessions to take photos of our sport. As many of you understand it is not an easy sport to explain to people wandering by or those just interested in the basics but now with the keen eye of a Semi Professional photographer our audience and supporters near and far can see the dedication required for a sport where no one gets paid and everyone still has to get up for their various jobs on that faithful Monday morning.
