Stephen Larkins, head coach at Redruth Rugby Football Club for the past two seasons, has informed the club that he has decided to relinquish his post with immediate effect.

Steve informed the playing squad and club officials prior to Thursday night’s training session stating that increasing work and family commitments had ultimately influenced his decision.

The club has expressed its thanks to Steve for the commitment his has given to the club, culminating in an excellent fourth place finish in National League 2 South last season and wished him and his family well for the future.

The club has confirmed that Marek Churcher has been appointed as Head Coach, assisted by experienced duo Adrian Rutter and Palepoi Nonu.
