Double Winners

Rothie were promoted to Division One East having swept aside the oppostion in winning the Division Two East whilst also capturing the Dickie Trophy.
A fabulous return of 10 wins & 3 draws in less than 5 weeks from April proved pivotal as it blew away the closest challengers leaving Rothie just needing a point from the final four games, and although they stumbled at the first attmept, no mistake second time round left two meaninglessmatches to be played allowing the squad to be fully utilised.
This is the first trophies won by the club in 23 years so it was clearly a fantastic seasonf or all connected to the club. With a few additions, Rovers will hope to push on next season in what is undoubtely a much tougher environment.
The club will hold there annual presentations night on June 3rd which will, without question, be a superb and enjoyable night for all.
