First up is Liam Read, a fan favourite who made 119 appearances and scored an impressive 42 goals from a wide position. A prolific and exciting player to watch, Liam also shared the pitch with Prendo during their time at Quorn.

Joining him is Jordan Wakeling, who made 90 appearances across an impressive seven seasons with Dynamo. A key part of the squad that secured promotion to Step 4, Jordan’s consistency and commitment made him a valued member of the side.

Completing this latest group is Sam Young, who made 24 appearances during a memorable 2015/16 season. That campaign included a special FA Cup run, with broadcaster Colin Murray visiting The Dovecote for the game against Retford, as well as two unforgettable matches against Hereford. Sam also played alongside Prendo at Quorn.

The Past Players XI is really starting to come together now, and it’s shaping up to be a fantastic occasion. The testimonial takes place on Sunday 3rd May 2026, and promises to be a brilliant day celebrating Niall’s career and supporting a truly meaningful cause.
