Our challenge cup adventure continues tomorrow, as the NCL side's reward for a solid season-opening performance at Clock Face, is another away trip, this time to Cumbria to face NCL Division 3 outfit, Millom.
Millom featured heavily in the media as they played an historic tie against Red Star Belgrade in round 1, a game that featured on the BBC's website. Millom came through that test and will no doubt be hoping home advantage pays off for them on Saturday, in what could be similar testing weather conditions that we faced at Clock Face.
The open age set-up is looking stronger this season. The side will be bolstered tomorrow by the returning Sean McCormack and Freddy Walker, with the pack taking on a familiar look and the same front 6 that performed well at Clock Face.
Last week Russell Holroyd's side knocked out Sharlston in the National Cup and the with Ben West also set to return to the ranks and the developing Under 18's in action on Sunday against Leigh East, competition for places is beginning to hot up.
The player's coach will be leaving the club tomorrow at 9.00 am. There are a few seats remaining if any supporters would like to make the trip with us, with seats only £5.
