Batley Bulldogs and Welsh international forward. Primarily a prop-forward, Byron can also operate in the second-row and joined Batley Bulldogs after spells with the Castleford Tigers (where he made 16 Super League appearances), home-town club Halifax, and Rochdale Hornets from whom he joined the Bulldogs in 2008. Possesses a great work ethic and never takes a backward step, winning a Northern Rail Cup winner’s medal in 2010.
