Sidlesham travelled to cowfold on Saturday and came away with a draw and another point on the road, although their second half showing they should of gained maximum points. In the first 10 minutes they could of been behind but for the bumpy, uneven and very long grassed pitch that wasn't helpful to either side and if the ball hadn't of bounced awkwardly for the Cowfold forward he would of buried one of the two chances he had early on.

Sidlesham grew into the game as it went on and they started to get the ball down and play although only creating a couple of half chances when Tom Bayley almost got on the end of a Callum Dowdell cross and when played through by Tom Atkinson the Cowfold defender managed to get back and block.

Second half Sidlesham started to get more and more of the ball and pressed their opponents deep into their own half and although a couple of break forward, Cowfold didn't really trouble the back four of the away side. Sidlesham should of gone ahead when a free kick into the box found Tom Kelly and Davidson Borges unmarked but the later failed to get a good connection and the chance went begging. Sidlesham again pushed hard for all 3 points and they forced two or three free kicks but with the home side defending well these didn't cause them too many concerns. So although playing well second half Sidlesham had to settle for a point and rue the missed chances they had.
