Following Coach Matt's advice to concentrate on short simple passes, we had some great plays throughout the game but struggled to get past Worthing's defence. They soon slipped one through our defence but we fought back with a couple of early tries from Fiona which just missed the goal, but these were soon followed by a cracking goal from Donna. Unfortuntely, Worthing soon took another goal.

After some sweets and a pep talk at half time, we returned to the game but still couldn't quite get the ball into the oppositions D. Despite a valient dive from defence player Lisa to stop one goal, Worthing scored twice more in the second half. The team played well and had some great plays, we just cpuldn't convert them this time.

Player of the Match was Alexa, who in her first even league match showed determination, fearlessness and even some fancy footwork in dodging balls sent (accidentally) direct to her feet!
