Shane cracks opens the window of his life to let us peek in!

Shane is a back line utility player who has settled in the centre for the Saints. His fierce style of play intimidates his opposite number and his self-belief provides the crowd with some awesome moves that often lead to tries.

Off the pitch he is a refined party-boy who enjoys the finer things in life like Port and sparring...He's a staunch St Austell bloke with a laugh like a donkey choking on a flip-flop who loves his town and rugby! He is also a country mile ahead now for the best answer to 7.

Under 14's - I was crying because I whimpered out of a tackle and they scored the winning try!

6. Who has most influenced your game and why?
Dr Colan Robinson - He was my first rugby coach at St Austell and installed confidence in my game and gave great tackling advice

What do you call a singing computer ?

8. Who is the person you’d most like to be stuck in a lift with and why?
My mum. She'd know what to do

James Haskell because he likes JCB diggers

Went to training after school when I was 12 and never looked back until joining the army. Loved it since returning

16. Which of your team mates is the most mischievous and why?
Hugh Noot is very mischievous, loves a prank in the changing rooms. Just all round joker, loves a cuddle in the showers (can't say I mind )

17. Who is the best dressed man in the squad?
Pete Rowe - Gola tracksuits everywhere he goes.

18. Which team mate is most likely to avoid paying for a round of drinks?

Pete Rowe, tight as a tic

You can see Shane and the rest of the senior squad on Saturday 23rd September away to Tiverton RFC or on 30th September when we welcome Torquay RFC to Tregorrick Park. 3pm start! If you missed the exciting and entertaining St Ives game then don't make that mistake again...get to Tregorrick!
