Douai Park and Thatcham Tornadoes welcomed 42 teams from far and wide to their second Girls Small Sided tournament over five age groups - Under Eight, Under Nine, Under Ten, Under Eleven and Under Fourteen. There were non-competitive groups for the U8 age group culminating in participation and Fair Play Awards whilst the U9 to U14 age groups took part in competitive leagues.

Throughout the day, Thatcham Tornadoes ran a charity speed shot competition to raise money for the Douai Park Pavilion Fund. Thanks to the generosity of all the teams, parents and supporters attending the tournament £120 was raised. Thatcham Tornadoes enjoyed limited success being represented in the Under 14 Consolation tournament Final where the Black team were beaten by Fleet Town Whites.

This tournament would not be possible to stage without the support of numerous volunteers. Thatcham Tornadoes would like to thank all the parents/volunteers who have given their time to make this tournament such a success.
