On a beautiful autumnal afternoon Thirsk took on Brigg , previously unbeaten and top of the premier division. Very closely matched Thirsk took the lead from a brake away goal from Bea Bell. Brigg battled hard but conceded another cracking goal from Grace Walker to extend the lead.
Thirsk came under a lot of pressure and despite some strong opposition, Thirsk were rewarded by their skill and team work with a 2-0 victory . Bea was awarded player of the match.
