CODE OF CONDUCT BREACHES
Experience shows that breaches of a code of conduct are rare. If it is a minor issue the matter
will be dealt with directly by your coach, often by speaking to the player
. If the Coach feels that he needs to appraise you of the position he will do so.
If the Coach believes the breach is more significant, he will arrange a meeting with you and your son/daughter. We firmly believe that talking about issues in an open way is the best way to deal with problems.
Breaches of the Code may result in the player being suspended from being selected for the
team for one or more games and
in significant cases, being asked to leave the club.
Cautions & Sendings Off If your son or daughter
is cautioned or sent off during a match this will be considered to be a
Code of Conduct breach. If the Referee refers the issue to the Football Association,
Tipton YOUTH AFC will receive a fine. We will expect the players
team , parent or guardian to pay the fine in full within the timescales stipulated by the Football Association. Failure to pay the
fine will result in the player not being selected until such time as payment is received.
ESCALATION PROCEDURE
Where circumstances of Gross Misconduct have occurred, the club expect the relevant team manager to report this incident to a Director of the club within 48 hours of it taking place.
The Director will then arrange a meeting between the manager, the player, the parent and the child welfare officer. The decision made at that meeting will remain final and will be in additionto any punishment imposed by the relevant league.
Instances of Gross Misconduct perpetrated outside of the football club may be considered if it
is felt by the club that it in
any way brings the Clubs name in to question or indeed may affect
the individuals team or team mates.
General misconduct is expected to be dealt with by the individual team managers. We would however expect repeat offences to be brought to the clubs attention General Misconduct Items such as but not entirely restricted to Red or Yellow card offences obtained in the normal course of play One off instances of over enthusiastic parental involvement
