Welcome to TJRFC

Tonbridge Juddians RFC is a very sociable and friendly rugby club, providing rugby for all ages, shapes and sizes.

The club has:

400+ minis and junior players (U6 to U15)
100+ academy players (U16 to U18)
75+ senior players (men and women)
50+ coaches and assistants who train, guide, mentor and encourage
50+ volunteers and helpers who make the club tick week-in, week-out
35+ sponsors who provide vital support, both financially and in kind
700+ non-playing members (supporters and parents)

We run three senior Men sides with the 1st XV currently competing in National 2 (East) which is Level 4 after winning three successive promotions between 2008 and 2011 and promotion as champions of N3L&SE in 2016-17.
The 2nd XV compete in Counties 3 Kent and we aim to field a men’s 3rd XV as and when numbers allow.
We also have a tremendous Ladies section, playing in Women's NC 1 South East (South), who have a full list of league fixtures with training.
The club has thriving Minis (U6-U11) and Junior (U12-U15) sections, for both boys and girls, with matches or training sessions on Sundays throughout the season and a the leading grassroots Academy (U16-U18) in the country who have been National Champions three times in the last decade.

The club is located in the centre of Tonbridge, with a purpose-built clubhouse which overlooks the main playing area. The club has 4 full sized pitches, with the 1st XV pitch fully flood-lit, plus a host of Minis grids. We have also teamed up with The Judd School to help develop a new 3G facility in Brook Street, Tonbridge which is available for training and matches throughout the season. The 3G Vizards pitch, opened in March 2017, is one of the best in the country and has proven to be invaluable.

TJs is a true grassroots club with a strong community-base and welcomes all standards of players and all types of non-playing social members. Everyone is welcome to come to the clubhouse to enjoy the rugby and share in the bon-hommie over a pint of beer or glass of wine (other options also available) in the bar. A regular feature of the season is the programme of League Lunches held prior to all 1st XV home league matches, and all important televised rugby matches can be seen on our large plasma screens.

Anyone who is interested in TJs membership, be that family membership (Minis, Juniors or Academy), senior playing (Men and Ladies) or non-playing social membership should contact Adam Hookway (Membership Secretary/Website Manager) who will guarantee you a friendly initial (albeit usually an electronic) welcome.
