REPORT

What a weekend! Absolutely glorious!

Thousands of families enjoyed both the football and the weather.

Over the two days 3,000 boys, girls, men and women from Buckinghamshire, Essex, Kent, London, Surrey and Sussex keenly contested 922 games on 15 pitches.

Play throughout the Fiesta was a superb standard.

The largest support and the loudest cheer was heard on Sunday afternoon for the Under 7s and Under 8s - their standard of play and sportsmanship was outstanding.

The Referees and dozens of Team Managers praised the excellent facility at Hadlow College used by TJFC for their Fiesta 2000.

The many compliments made to Control from Team Managers on leaving the Fiesta included:

Purley Panthers: Very Impressed

Orchard FC: Been to five this year - this is the best organised

Dartford: Best one they have been to.

Ken Bywater of Bywater Financial Services provided an unforgettable Sunday for the 300 individuals and teams who met the world famous Laurie Good and had their photo taken holding the original FA cup.

Reg Spicer, Chairman of Tonbridge Junior FC - "We were truly blessed by the level of support given to this year's Fiesta and by the quite unbelievable weather. The Fiesta was obviously thoroughly enjoyed by the thousands of players and spectators and I thank all the referees and helpers who volunteered their time to make this possible."
