Scottish Rugby process confirmed

As announced last week, Scotland’s season opening warm-up game against Georgia at BT Murrayfield this Friday 23 October (kick-off 7.30pm, ‘live’ on ITV4) will not be open to spectators. However, ticket ballots for Scotland's two Autumn Nations Cup games against France and Fiji - and the Final Weekend match - are now open.

Although we are unable at this stage to guarantee crowds will be permitted, Scottish Rugby must still prepare for such an eventuality. (The Scottish Government will be reviewing its guidelines on public gatherings, events and physical-distancing at least once before Scotland’s next home games.) To allow Scottish Rugby to react quickly to Scottish Government guidelines in the event of crowds being permitted into BT Murrayfield, ticket ballots are now open to NEVIS members for all three Autumn Nations Cup games:

1. SCOTLAND v FRANCE, Sunday 22 November (kick-off 3.15pm)
2. SCOTLAND v FIJI, Saturday 28 November (kick-off 1.45pm)
3. GEORGIA v (tbc*), Saturday 05 December (kick-off 12pm)
* Georgia could play either Italy, Fiji, France or Scotland depending on these teams’ previous tournament results

Ballots for the Guinness Six Nations games against Ireland, Wales and Italy will open later this year. If you are interested in attending any of the games during Season 2020/21 there is still time to purchase your Nevis membership and secure your place in the match ticket ballots. To find out more about the NEVIS membership, please visit our Membership page HERE.

Everything you need to know about the ticket ballots can be found in the ASK Scottish Rugby section of the website (step-by-step guide to the ballots) with FAQs on all aspects being regularly updated.

TICKET PRICES & MATCH-DAY SAFETY
Because of physical-distancing guidelines it hasn’t been possible to retain the four categories of ticket (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum) that you have become used to over the last few years. We are also unable to offer concessionary tickets this season, but we are offering two category options:

Category 1: Mainly the East & West Stands
Category 2: Mainly behind the posts and in the corner sections

The match tickets that can be applied for in the ballots are priced as follows:
Category 1 Category 2
Scotland v France £50 £30
Scotland v Fiji £50 £30
Final Weekend All tickets £25

Matchday Safety
Scottish Rugby wants to reassure everyone applying for match tickets to these games of the measures that will be put in place at BT Murrayfield on matchdays. These will be in stringent compliance with all Scottish Government and medical guidelines. You can find a full list of all measures on the Scottish Rugby website, as well as a video showing what to expect. However, here are some of the key measures being implemented:

• all tickets will be electronic, to be either printed at home or scanned on your mobile device;
• ticket terms and conditions have been updated to reflect restrictions related to COVID-19;
• entry times to the stadium will be staggered to minimise queues;
• physically-distanced queues at turnstiles, bars and catering stalls within the stadium;
• everyone entering the stadium must wear a face mask;
• hand sanitisers will be available at all turnstiles and toilets;
• physically distanced seating
• cashless sales at bars, catering and shop.
