

The Selkies travelled into Glasgow today to face Glasgow University in their National Plate fixture and came back to Castle Policies with all 5 points following a near perfect 49-0 performance.
Any rustiness was blown away in the opening quarter with 3 converted tries providing a comfortable 21-0 lead at the break. Tries from Harkness, Wilson, and Cox were all ably converted by Plant.
The second half was more of the same, with the bonus point wrapped up with minutes of the restart. A further 3 converted tries rounded off the scoring. Tries from Smith, Scahill, and Plant (2) were all converted by Plant to give the Selkies a well deserved away win.
Player of the match Emily Plant finished the day with 24 point to her credit from her 2 tries and a perfect kicking display with 7 conversions.
Next Sunday, 23/02, the Selkies are on the road again when they continue their National Plate campaign at Anchor Park where they face Paisley. Kick off at 2pm.
