This is the first of a new monthly update we plan to share via the club's social media channels to keep members updated on key items discussed and agreed at committee.

Our main focus at our February meeting covered winter planning actions including; arrangements for our overseas player for the 2020 season, updates on youth league structures and a review of our social media activities supported by the new club website.

Additionally, following Ben's recent decision to step away from committee activities, we agreed to seek volunteers interested in filling the now vacant role. Similarly, the unfilled role of Club Captain (which includes a role to sit on selection committee in a non-playing capacity) also needs to be filled prior to the season starting. If either of these posts appeal to you please contact Mike (Chairman) or Oz (Secretary) to discuss further in the first instance.

The main financial discussions centred on the insurance claim for the nets damaged from the recent storms and options for possible replacements. We also reviewed plans for upcoming club events - the Golf Day planned for 3 April and a "free-entry" Pre-Season Curry Night planned for 17 April (more information to follow).
