All in all the Oaktree XI continued their impressed displays in the field and restricted the visitors to 105 all out on a tricky wicket.
Opening the batting TAJ was disappointed to be dismissed early and Club Captain Tom Walker could only manage 9 himself. However, the Newton brother's secured the victory with skipper Lee ending on an unbeaten 57 to end his drought and Ryan hit a swift 25.
All in all the squad will be happy with the manor in which they boucned back after a very disappointing result against Fen Ditton previously. The Kirkland Cup squad start their season away at Pymoor on Monday.
