WOODHOUSE WARRIORS WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1985 AFTER THE DEMISE OF THE SHEEPSCAR A.R.L. TEAM.

WOODHOUSE STARTED THERE FIRST SEASON IN THE LEEDS & DISTRICT SUNDAY LEAGUE PLAYING OUT OF THE WOODHOUSE CRICKET CLUB WITH A TEAM OF OLD AND NEW PLAYERS. WOODHOUSE'S FIRST TWO SEASON WAS A LEARNING CURB BUT WENT FROM STRENGTH TO STRENGTH WINNING TROPHIES AND BECOMING ONE OF THE STRONGEST TEAMS IN THE LEAGUE GOING ON TO WIN ALL THE CUPS(6)AND LEAGUE IN ONE SEASON IN THE LEEDS & DISTRICT SUNDAY LEAGUE (1993-94) BEFORE JOINING THE YORKSHIRE LEAGUE IN 1995.

THE TEAM JOINED IN DIVISION SIX AND WON PROMOTION EVERY SEASON GOING ON TO BECOME DIVISION 2 CHAMPIONS AND WINNING THE TOP FOUR CHAMPIONSHIP (1998-9) BEFORE LOOSING PLAYERS TO PROFESSIONAL CLUBS AND TEAMS IN HIGHER DIVISIONS AND LEAGUES, WOODHOUSE FOUND IT HARD IN DIVISION ONE WITH AGAIN A TEAM OF NEW & OLD PLAYERS AND STRUGGLED ON BEFORE FOLDING IN 2001-2 SEASON.

WOODHOUSE RESTARTED IN THE PENNINE LEAGUE WITH AGAIN A TEAM OF NEW AND OLD PLAYERS IN 2004 AND BECOMING RUNNERS-UP GETTING PROMOTION THEIR FIRST SEASON.

THE TEAM IS ONCE AGAIN GOING FROM STRENGTH TO STRENGTH WITH NEW PLAYERS AND A GOOD COMMITTEE AT THE CLUB.
