Chippenham U15 Girls made the short trip down to play Wiltshire rivals Bradford on Avon.
It was a frustrating first half for the visitors as a series of penalties went against them to deny them from building any momentum.
BOA took the lead midway through the first half. Chippenham struck back almost immediately Jessica Johnson and Faith Gibbs combined to drive the ball forward. The forwards mauled the ball forward and Sophie Adam put Orla Jones away from 7m to score.
Half time: BoA 5-5 Chippenham.
Chippenham could not find their rhythm in the second half. BoA ran in 3 tries with some good work from their backs despite three excellent cover tackles from Nadia Storey. Faith Gibbs and Erin Tarrant went close.
The game ended in a 30 Girl Maul under the BoA posts, but once again BoA denied Chippenham from getting a consolation score.
Final Score: BoA 20-5 Chippenham.
Especially well done to Izzy Hawkins and Menna Yeoman who made their debuts for the U15s. Both played well and looked at home in the team.
