Beccs started well playing down hill and were quickly in the lead from a penalty kicked by
Jordan Souter.
Beccs continued to enjoy early possession and soon stretched their lead to 0-8 when Paul
Broadhurst scored a try which was not converted.
Bromley then enjoyed a period of possession and Beccs gave a number of penalties away
which first gave Bromley territory in our half.
Eventually 3 penalties kicked by Jonathon Griffiths gave Bromley the lead 9-8.
Beccs managed to wrest some control and eventually managed to break down a good
Bromley defence for Josh Fogarty to score a try which made the score 9-13.
There was still time for Bromley to venture into the Beccs half and Jonathon Griffiths to kick
another penalty to leave the score 12-13 at half time.
The crowd were anticipating a number of scores in the second half.
