3s struggle against Forest

Waltham Forest bagged the first goal of the game but S&B equalised within minutes when Isabelle Williams hit the backboard. It was more like tennis than hockey when Forest scored again, before Grace Wright made it 2-2 with another goal for the hosts. But Forest scored again to take the score 3-2 into the break.

In the second half, defender and player of the match Lucy Stowe broke down many attacks from the visitors but they managed to score twice more giving them a 5-2 win. Despite the loss the 3s remain upbeat as it was an improvement on the score from their previous encounter, and the whole team put up a great fight, creating opportunities and remaining positive.
