Otley go to Welford Road to play Leicester Lions, making only two changes from the team that demolished Macclesfield last Saturday. Jason Moss replaces Lawrence Sanderson in the front row, and Josh Hall makes his first start for the club on the wing having signed from Darlington MP last month.
Otley are 10 points off the top two, and with the Hinckley v Chester game kicking off an hour later there is our opportunity to reduce that gap whilst keeping above Hinckley. The Lions snatched a win against away at Sedgley Park last Saturday, and having lost their last home fixture against Huddersfield, they will be looking to get one over another Yorkshire side. Otley will go into the Lions’ den upbeat knowing they need to put behind them the game at Cross Green in October – their only home defeat this season.
The Saracens have a fixture against Bramley Phoenix at Cross Green, (kick off 14:30), weather permitting, with the Scotland v Italy game as back up. Then England are also on the big screen when they play Ireland – ko 16:45.
