Beccehamian Rugby Club are delighted to be supporting, attending and participating in The Bromley Road to Rio at Norman Park on Saturday 14th May 2016

The Bromley Road to Rio is taking place at Norman Park on Saturday 14th May 2016 , between 12am-4pm with Samba bands, cheerleaders and a carnival atmosphere taking over, with the aim of showcasing the variety of sports, health and physical activity opportunities available to people within the Borough.

WHAT IS IT? - Road to Rio is a community event for everyone in the London Borough of Bromley, to celebrate the legacy of the Olympics in 2012 and to support our athletes on their journey in 2016. With THREE fantastic events in one - Biking Buzz, Bromley Sports Village and Ride 2 Rio!

WHEN IS IT? Saturday 14th May 2016 from 12 noon to 4pm.

WHERE IS IT? Norman Park, Bromley.

WHO IS IT FOR? EVERYONE!!!

Sports Village

Beccehamian Rugby Club have secured a pitch in the Sports Village in Norman Park to display and promote the club to passing members of the public.
Members from all sections of the club will be in attendance during the day handing out flyers with information about the club and to answer any questions.
Sections of the club include Micros 3-6yrs, Minis 7-12yrs, Junior boys and girls 13-17yrs, and Senior Men and Ladies 18+yrs.
Beccs have been allocated a time slot of 2:00 to 2:20pm in the central arena to deliver an interactive display / demonstration / micro coaching session for members of the public to watch and take part in.
There will also be interactive games including passing and skills coaching available for all ages wishing to participate.

Ride to Rio

The Road to Rio is a challenge to active and non active people of Bromley to get on their bikes and collectively ride 5760 miles to Rio 2016.
Cyclists of all ages and abilities will add their efforts together to achieve this challenge.

• Please note that in order for the organisers to send out the chip timing to you prior to the event, please make sure that when you register on Ride social, that you tick the 'receive information from BC and partners' box. Also please note that all children U16 must be accompanied by an adult.
