Saw us entertain Church Fenton A at Glen Road in our first ever game in the Wetherby League . This game saw Brian Bruce Dunbar, Manav Shah and Chris Whicker making their debuts for the club
Frosdick & Saunders were top scorers as we set a decent total, before Bruce opened up his bowling account with a 4 for.

Saw the pre-merger Bramhope A travel to play Headingley at Glen Road. Jim Hinks was in stylish form with the bat before some lower order brutality from Bruce & Ifty boosted Headingley to a 300+ total.

Some positive talk from the Bramhope chaps about it being chaseable wasn't really back up as Stelfox and Ifty ripped through the visitors batting.

Saw us entertain Great Preston A, Will Clifton was in good form with the ball, helping dismiss the visitors for a modest total. Early wickets gave Great Preston some home, but Jim Hinks & Jeremy Everett steadied the ship then saw Headingley home

Our newly created 2nd XI had their first game against Wighill Park, Tom Poulter & Joe Franklin tore into the oppositions batsmen, giving the Headingley batsmen a modest total to chase, which they did thanks to good knocks from Poulter, Tony Williams and Dave Wyatt.

Saw a long unbeaten run come to an end when East Keswick sneaked home in a nail biter, Ian Ted Rogers top scored with the bat as the host set a lowish total, in a game that ebbed and flowed it went right to the end

The 2nd XI posted a strong total against Bramham & Clifford, Joe Gazzard led from the front falling just short of a ton, and Dave Crutchley contributed a quickfire 60. After a steady start Headingley Bramhope's bowlers started taking wickets at regular intervals as The Crutchleys, Matty Marshall, Raja Iqbal and Gazzard all chipped in with wickets.

Saw the 1st XI get off to a losing start, coming up short against St Chads, Chads posting a good total and then following a good Mason, Baker partnership Headingley's challenge rather fading away.

The 2s travelled to Long Marston, where Clfton metronomed straight into action well back up by Stelfox, I Crutchley and Asif Sharif. Dev, Haider and Fahad all chipped in with runs in a good 7 wicket win
