MARINE FC ANOUNCE PARTNERSHIP WITH THE ROYAL HOTEL

Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Marine announces that the Waterloo based the Royal Hotel has become it’s first official hotel partner in a two year advertising deal through to May 2014.

The Royal Hotel is a privately owned 25 bedroom 3 star hotel situated at Marine Terrace, Waterloo, Liverpool, overlooking the Marine Gardens and the Mersey estuary. The Hotel is just a few minutes drive away from The Arriva Stadium and the Anthony Gormley Art installation "Another Place" which consists of 100 life size Iron Men is directly in front of the hotel.

Originally named the Crosby Seabank Hotel, the Grade II listed building dates back to 1815. Just one year later at the first anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo, its name was changed to the Royal Waterloo Hotel, and the district, in which Marine Football Club was founded, adopted the name of Waterloo after the hotel. In Marine’s early years the Club was often referred to as Waterloo Marine.
Marine Chairman Paul Leary said:

“This is a very first agreement in which we have launched our official hotel partner. The 3 star Royal Hotel is well situated for the players, officials and supporters of visiting clubs attending games at The Arriva Stadium who then often visit and stay in Liverpool to see the many tourist attractions or to sample the nightlife. The charm, elegance and history of the Royal Hotel in Waterloo makes it an ideal place to stay for that weekend visit to Merseyside and its many attractions.”

The Royal Hotel Owner Brian Tartt said:

“We are delighted to become the first official Hotel partner with Marine FC without doubt Liverpool’s premier non-league football club. As a life long resident of Crosby I and my co-Directors are fully aware of the long and proud traditions of Marine over many years and congratulate all connected with the football club for not only maintaining the highest of standards but also to the fantastic recent refurbishments at the ground including the new lighting system recently installed. We also wish them the best of luck in their fundraising for the planned further upgrading of their facilities, which, we feel sure, will be much appreciated by their many fans and visiting teams. We at the Royal Hotel are proud to be associated with the Club.”

Brian Tartt added:

“We can assure the visiting teams and supporters a very warm welcome to the Royal Hotel and offer the keenest of prices for both accommodation and food & beverage which is of the highest of quality.”
