A Rollercoaster of a Tour

Rugby Tours are a fantastic way of bringing a group together and as we always say ."This was the best ever"

Our executive coach in the capable hands of our driver Simon ( ex Earlsdon player - we wont hold it against him) left the Crofts early so we could make good time to get to Thorpe Park for when the gates opened.Resplendent in our Tour Polos ( Sponsored by Wildside .. thanks Nick and Tilly Penn ) the Boys ,Dads and Brian descending on the thrills and spills of the Theme Park.We aren't sure who enjoyed it more but needless to say a good time was had by all and "Stealth" being seen as a major highlight.

All back on the bus to our digs for the Night ..Hilton , St Annes Manor ,Bracknell,we all agreed that this passed our usual high standard and the obligotary wedding was in full flow when we arrived.The boys and JJ enjoyed the pool and the grown ups took refreshments on the Terrace .The sun shone and new tourists were welcomed into the OL's fold and toasted with a couple of glasses of mead.
Onto the gala Dinner and what a spread we had ,to a plate this could not be faulted and Zoltan ..yes Zoltan our Maitre D for the evening ensured that every request was met with perfect service and nothing was too much trouble.
Speeches ensued ( a bit emotional ) and then onto the Quiz .Quiz Master Johnny W ( Ted Rogers to us ) set some challenging questions and a few physical challenges all of which were relished by the Touring Party .I have no idea who won but it wasn't our table so must have been fixed !!
After Dinner refreshment was then taken again on the Terrace and new appointments to the Group Management structure were agreed.
