Charter Standard Award Renewed

By Paul WHITEHEAD

Charter Standard

Salts were informed today by the WRCFA that their FA Charter Standard has been renewed ready for 2018.

Between the seniors and the juniors we have 44 teams and over 80 people involved in either managing or coaching the players, so achieving FA Charter Standard is not the easiest of tasks.

The club are very proud of continuing to maintain high standards including last year hosting our own FA Level 1 course at Salts Sports.

This award covers the Juniors, Seniors, Disability Section and our Veterans teams.

To qualify each team must have someone trained in FA Emergency Aid and every youth team (age 18 and under) must have at least one person with an FA Level One coaching certificate.

In addition all managers and coaches of the youth teams must have a valid Criminal Records Check and a valid Safeguarding Children's certificate.

The FA Charter Standard is a clear demonstration to all parents, sponsors and the public, that the club:

Is well-organised, safe and offers opportunities for all.
Has FA-qualified coaches as standard.
Adheres to FA Respect Policies and Codes of Conduct.
Prioritises Child Welfare.
Maintains appropriate levels of discipline.
Has access to the County FA and FA regional workforces.
Can use the coveted ‘Three Lions’ FA crest on its marketing and business materials.

Well done to all at the club for playing your part in achieving it.
