Joel Gyasi rejoins the Eagles

By Roger Worsley

Winger joins from AFCR&D

We are pleased to announce that Joel Gyasi has rejoined Bedford Town.
Joel played for the Eagles between 2012 and 2014.
In between, Joel has played for Northampton Sileby Rangers, Daventry Town and AFC Rushden & Diamonds.
Joel will go into the squad for Saturday’s game at Tilbury, in the Buildbase FA Trophy.

Jon Taylor said, ‘Joel is an excellent acquisition for us, and will provide balance on either flank. He has a pace that allows him to get behind, and provide a nightmare for defenders.
I am excited, as we are able to bring in players of Joel’s calibre, and I’m certain he will bring good experience at this level, and get himself on the scoresheet.
Joel was an integral part of the AFC Rushden & Diamonds promotion from this division last season, and was one of the most consistent players in Andy Peak’s squad.
Joel acknowledges that we have good strength in depth this season, and feels excited to be signing for Bedford, and was impressed with the players he trained with on Thursday night.’
