Welcome to our 2nd XV page. Our second XV plays in the Shepherd Neame Essex Merit Table 4, having been promoted at the end of the 2018/19 season.

The 2nd XV are always looking for new and aspiring players who have solid experience in the game and are looking for competitive weekly fixtures on a Saturday. We accept players straight into the 2nd XV if they have previous experience, but the 2nds also accept players who began in our 3rd XV or developing squad as they become increasing confident on the pitch and develop their skills.

If you want to start playing weekly again, or are interested in joining the Steelers from another club and have a good amount of experience, then email recruitment@kxsrfc.com and let them know you are interested in joining the team. They'll be able to invite you along to a session and get you involved.

The 2nd XV welcomes supporters to come down to watch all our games at home for free at Steelers Stadium, keep an eye out for upcoming fixtures
