As the club approaches our 25th birthday, now is the perfect time to come and join the Steelers, either as an experienced player or as part of our Pathway to Rugby program.

We're also welcoming players who may have rested for a few fallow seasons and want to take the sport up again to rediscover the joy of rugby.

Where do you train?
Memorial Park
5 minutes walk from West Ham Station
This is on the Jubilee, District, DLR and C2C lines.

When do you train?
Tuesday and Thursday from 7pm-8:30pm

How many teams do you have and and what level do they play at?
1st Xv - Level 8 London 3 Essex
2nd XV - Shepherd Neame Essex Merit League Division 4
3rd XV - Shepherd Neame Essex Merit League Division 6 West
4th XV - Development and IGR friendlies

Do you have a women's team?
No, but we work closely with our friends the East London Vixens who train at the same locations and will welcome you. We can put you in touch.

I am not LGBTQ, can I play for you?
Yes - We are fully inclusive and welcome all players no matter their sexual identity

What facilities do you have?
Memorial Park has 4 grass pitches and a 3g pitch for training that we share with another club. There are ample changing rooms and facilities and our club house has 2 bars and function rooms.

Do you have medical and physio provision?

Yes - we have a club physio who is fully qualified in sports rehabilitation and support. We have a number of rugby ready first aiders and members who are medics that support.

How much is membership?
Last year our membership was £110 and a small match day fee for playing.
The club is reviewing this and also runs a number of fundraising events to keep membership fees as low as possible.

When will preseason start?
We are hoping that preseason will begin in July and will be run in accordance with the Government and RFU rules. Register now so you get all the information as it comes out.
