THE CYCLE BROKEN!!
ST.NEOTS 0 v BIGGLESWADE TOWN 0
Report by Mike Draxler
It was fascinating to watch two teams, local rivals, to battle out the 90 minutes for tomorrow's bragging rights. At the end maybe the Waders edged it on points, but then cut me in half and I am lettered green. It was fast and furious with passion from our boys not seen in recent weeks. Tony"magical" Burnett hit the bar early on and Robbie Parker was unlucky with the rebound. Clear chances were not in abundance and neither side looked like scoring although the Saints hit the bar midway through the second period.
An enjoyable game and the most important aspect is it has broken the series of defeats, so perhaps we can gain confidence and get back to winning ways. Lose a few games and this league is like snakes and ladders. We got bit by the snake at Chesham and have been sliding ever since. Now with a foot on the first rung maybe just maybe. It's so quick to slide down those snakes but getting back up takes effort and time. Up the Waders.
