To everybody's relief, the sun shone at Crawley on Sunday and seemed to inspire the U8s to produce some great rugby – recording a clean sheet over Crawley. After a close first game, Bognor won 2-1, and then found their stride in their second game, seeing off Crawley 6-3. The final game saw Bognor come home 5-2.
Some great rugby throughout including notable individual efforts from everyone in the team - Evie, Toby.C , Toby.H, Zac O., Oscar, Johnny, Charlie and Daniel. In particular, really solid mid-field play, plenty of good tagging and consistent pressure on Crawley which created lots of turnover ball from which Bognor were able to capitalise.
A fantastic effort – hopefully we can keep this standard up for the rest of the season.
