All players will need to wear a mouth guard (Gum Shield)

Wearing of shin pads is strongly recommended

Shoulder pads and helmets can be worn (not essential) but must have an IRB Approval label on them.

Clothing

We play in varying weather conditions, wet, cold, hot etc.

It is essential all players dress appropriately for these conditions. It is important players have layers they can put on and take off dependent on the weather. All players should have clothes to keep warm - tracksuit, sweatshirt, base layers, hat, gloves and waterproof. Best way is to have alternatives in a kit bag.

Please do not turn up in the middle of winter in a t shirt and shorts

It is important all players bring a complete change of clothing for after training especially in the winter months.

Club rugby socks, Shorts and other branded apparel can be bought from the club Rugby Shop

Hot weather

On the occasional days we get hot days players need to remember sun screen and hats.

Nutrition

All players should have had something to eat and drink before training or a match.

They should have access to drinks especially in hot weather.
